The project prioritised flexibility and collaborative spaces, featuring high-specification areas dedicated to research, business and technology. The building's simple, elegant design followed the curve of the campus edge, creating a new façade both internally and externally. A substantial new public realm has integrated the building with the city park, fostering a unique sense of place around the existing structures.
An innovative new facility offering high quality, flexible space
Broadway Malyan was appointed to design a new building for the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). The UNNC Incubator Park is located on a key urban edge of the campus and city wetland park and sets a new benchmark for infrastructure of this type in China, providing a valuable asset to the campus.
