Loughborough University appointed Broadway Malyan to deliver architectural services for a new building that brings together England’s first National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM) and a dedicated space for the University’s Health, Exercise and Biosciences (HEBS) faculty. The project forms a key part of the London 2012 Olympic Games legacy.
The building offers state-of-the-art facilities for sports medicine and research, providing medical services for individuals recovering from sports-related injuries. It was designed to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas between professional clinicians and academic researchers, with the aim of translating research into practice and promoting healthier lifestyles.
