Developed under the Livat brand—a Swedish term meaning ‘a lively happening’—the meeting place concept reflects Ingka Centres’ vision of creating a better everyday life. It is one of four Livat centres operating in China, designed to offer easy access to wellbeing, a sustainable lifestyle, and a sense of belonging, while meeting everyday needs.
Each new ‘meeting place’ concept is anchored by an IKEA store, with Livat Xi’an hosting over 400 additional stores, offering a vision that extends beyond retail. The concept seamlessly blends Eastern and Western cultures, creating sustainable, vibrant destinations that are deeply rooted in their communities. Reflecting Ingka’s distinctive Scandinavian values, these spaces feel both authentic and genuine.
