He has extensive experience in regional and city scale urban planning strategies, development frameworks, visionary masterplans, design guides, urban codes and cultural heritage projects, leading projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, North and South America, the Middle East, India and South East Asia.
Phil applies an evidence-based approach to diagnose and resolve deep-set and complex urban planning issues and seeks to optimise place value and social benefits while yielding returns on public and private investments.
His approach to development embraces resilient and sustainable placemaking, incorporating smart environmentally attuned systems supported by transit-oriented development and rigorous and robust stakeholder participation.
