Hugo has more than 25 years of experience of development and regeneration projects across a range of sectors.
His career with Broadway Malyan has seen him work in London and Lisbon before launching the practice’s Birmingham studio where he is responsible for all UK regional activities in the Midlands and North.
He has a particular interest in influencing community in all aspects of the residential sectors through later living, high density urban development and student accommodation and how each of these sub sectors communicate and interact.
Hugo is also a specialist in designing and achieving planning consents for bespoke family homes for private clients with notable projects including a pair of houses in Wimbledon village in south west London and a modernist home inspired by the pioneering work of Mies van der Rohe in the Cotswolds.
